The Henry County Special Deputies are sworn personnel of the Henry County Sheriff's Office, and some are OPOTA Certified. Special Deputies work assignments throughout Henry County such as the county fair, security for high school sport activities, festivals, local dances, etc. Sheriff Nye keeps a roster of Special Deputies on staff, ready for assignment, or call out at a moments notice.
