 Chief Deputy Arlen Cohrs began his career with the HenryCounty Sheriff’s Office on December 16, 1991. Chief Cohrs has worked as a road Deputy investigating various types of criminal complaints and is currently in charge of the SORN division.  He  was appointed Chief Deputy on January 9th,  2013 by Sheriff Michael Bodenbender when he took Office. The Chief Deputy serves as second in command to the Sheriff and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Sheriff’s Office. Chief Cohrs is a graduate of Patrick Henry High School, Ohio Peace Officer Basic Training Academy, and numerous specialized law enforcement training classes. He has lived in Henry County for over 30 years and he and his wife Tracey have two daughters.
